[SBE] Video cameras in radio studios

That and inevitabley there is at least one jock who doesn't like it and, no
matter how many times you or Programming tells them not to, will paste paper
over the camera or jiggle it around so they can't be seen and probably end
up breaking it.

I am a big fan of multi-media, but if you are going to integrate visual
aspects to your radio broadcasts you would be better off creating
complimentary media (web-only bits, flash games, extra-length or exclusive
content interviews or performances, etc..) rather than try to make a Radio
Show act more like a TV Show. That multimedia element should drive people
to your website and (if your website is doing the job you hope it is doing)
to your radio frequency (or at least the internet stream). A Radio Show on
Video is just driving people to the video source.

Of course... this can backfire. You could find yourself in trouble if
people know more about your YouTube videos than they know about your
programming!
