Tardis is a great shareware program we use for some of our systems here at Golf Channel.

You can have the program point to an IP on your network.

Subject: [SBE] Question about NTP Servers?

So we have an Axia rig and for reasons I can't fully fathom you can't directly plug Time Code into these systems (via a BNC or anything like that). They recommend running an NTP Server from a computer connected to the Axia Network and then having your Console look at that machine for its time sync. They also told me there are plenty of freeware NTP Server Softwares available on the internet.

Seems simple enough, eh?

Well... I already have the computer and an ESE Card syncing its system time to my Master clock. However... I am hitting a brick wall with the server software! I'm having a hell of a time finding a free program to do this, and those that I do find don't seem to work for this purpose or seem to require the machine to look at an NTP server on the internet and not the time sync I have already feeding the PC.

Anybody out there have any experience with this and can make a recommendation of software to use and/or where to find it? I'm willing to pay for software if I know it works and is easy to use, but Axia seems unwilling to make recommendation and they don't seem to have any partner software for this.
