As I understand the process. You do not need to have a paypal account
to do business via the paypal route.
It starts with the merchant setting up a paypal account and then
you/me/we can use our traditional credit card to pay SBE (merchant) and
to you/me/us it looks like a normal credit card transaction. The only
problem I have had was on a return... I purchased using AMX to the
merchants paypal account, and the merchant insisted that he credit my
"no-tengo" paypal account, but in the end AMX forced the merchant to
issue a check.
Barry, I think you have summed it up well... It makes no difference to
the buyer, but to the seller, there is a fee and its rolled into the
final price or you write it off to the cost of doing business.
