[SBE] 950 STL curious problem

To Cowboys suggestion of reversing the path.  A good way to explore possible problems with the antennas, but be cautious in that you can cause interference issues to co-channel users who may be behind the normally transmitting side of the path.

 Pondering this whole scenario.....

 Take the STL transmitter to the receive end. Put it on the RX antenna.
 Watch the SWR.

 If do-able, also put the RX at the transmit end, and watch signal that way too.

 In other words, does the problem exist in both directions, and does
 either end cause the TX to see an SWR issue ?
