Well we know CPB is funding a centralcasting model for the state of NY for PBS there. Their next target is Illinois consolidating more than 200 miles outside of Chicago to avoid the Unions. They have cancelled grants to individual stations and Sen (D) Dick Durbin is supposedly trying to get funding restored. There has been an ad for a consultant to formulate centralcasting for all PBS stations and consolidate master controls and where possible TX facilities. Pure politics of govt at work.
