Thanks.  Its a new life.  I would not want to be trying to get into this 
biz today.  When I started Broadcasting had pages of help wanted ads, radio, 
TV, DJ, engineering, just about anything.  Today maybe a sales or production 
job. if any listings, or spend all week driving to 12 remote locations on 
your own gas for food stamps and a sun burn.  Ouch.  

The station was so bad off they just sent people out the door, no 
severance. Piles of unpaid bills. Some had been there 10+ years (me and others).  
There was no surprise, the boss had to take a pay cut so he was making less 
than me. I had removed all my test gear from the transmitter that morning and 
had already taken nearly all personal items home weeks ago.  When you are 
building an unattended facility, that means you are not going to be attending!  
Boss was stunned when I told him I was not surprised, got up and left.
