Yes, I remember those inspections, and if the transmitter was in the 
same building on the same floor as the studio, so as not to have a 
remote control, just extension meters, the inspector would have you open 
the back door of the transmitter to test the interlock, and it had 
better shut down when the door opened.  If it didn't, you were cited.
