[SBE] Hams in Broadcasting Net tonite

As usual, the Hams in Broadcasting Net will meet at 8 PM Eastern time
on IRLP Reflector 9615, the Echolink *SBE* conference 96150 and the
WA2CBS repeater in NYC, which are bridged together.

We've been talking lately about AM antennas on islands and peninsulas.
   I'll relate some of my experiences at my first commercial station
WJJZ, Mount Holly's transmitter on an island in the middle of the
Delaware River with no bridge.  In my naive youth I thought I was safe
from a sneak FCC inspection, but no, the FCC was sneakier than me!

They thought it was just FINE.  Hmmmmmm.
