[SBE] Dwindling numbers of engineers

This unintended consequence isn't peculiar to our business either......
It is widespread since accountants and short term shareholder profit
seem to be ruling the roost. Doing "More with less" is all well and
good until you reach a saturation point. Real wisdom is knowing when
you get to that point though and more damage than good starts to be done.

My humble view at least.
