[SBE] EAS CAP adaptors/converters

To reply to my own post, in reading around the internet today I did learn that a converter only gets the minimum required CAP info.  A unified CAP/EAS unit also can get additional info (I guess meta data).  So I wonder is there a sunset on the minimum required data?  Will they require us to get it all someday?

Anyone know if there is any truth to there being a deadline for the use of CAP adaptors/converters?  That there will be a day in the not too distant future when only a single CAP enabled EAS unit will be allowed, no adaptor/converters.
