[SBE] Regarding Sennheiser wireless mics

Need some input on using Sennheiser wireless mics, specifically the Ew100 G3 series.
 
It appears the 3.5mm TRS cable used for INPUT to the body pack transmitter is XLR Pin 2 = TRS  RING =POSitive
 
I would like to use two of these for stereo audio backhaul from venue console to ENG camera.  Anyone done so successfully, or do I have to buy a stereo wireless setup?
