[SBE] Barix Extreamer 500

I have a client who has been successfully using a pair of Barix 500 units as a bi-directional STL.  The left and right return channels are being used for dual mono satellite audio feeds.  Upon failure of one of the units, we replaced the pair with two brand new units.  The problem with the new units is that the LEFT and RIGHT channels are  randomly reversing every few moments.  If I feed mono audio into the left channel only, of one of the units, the audio appears at the right channel output of the other unit.  A few moments later the audio switches to the left channel, then moments later it swithes back to the right channel.  Has anyone else run into this problem.  If so, what is the solution, short of trashing the Barix and going to something else.  This worked perfectly for a few years, until we replaced the Extreamer 500 units with two newer 500 units, with the exact same configuration, as we used before.
