Oh! That is nice to know, thanks! Obviously I must read the friggin 
9100A/FT manual!

I've just ordered a KryoFlux interface board so I can take advantage of 
Ian's archives and edit floppies on my Mac! That will reduce the number 
of computers chugging along somewhat...
