CALL FOR HOSTING PROPOSALS FOR THE
INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON ENTERTAINMENT COMPUTING 2009
DEADLINE 1st FEBRUARY 2008

The IFIP TC14 - Technical Committee on Entertainment Computing is pleased to
launch a call for proposal for the organisation of ICEC 2009 (International
Conference on Entertainment Computing). In line with the established
tradition of rotating the venue of the conference between Europe, Asia and
America, ICEC 2009 is to be organised in Europe. We are therefore calling
upon our Europeans colleagues to submit a proposal for the organisation of
the conference.

At this stage prospective organisers are invited to submit a short
expression of interest by 1st February 2008. All emails to be sent to the
TC14-secretary address: mail at bsalem.info
The expressions of interest should briefly outline the following points:
- The main organising person.
- The organisation/group/entity the candidate belongs to  and is affiliated
with.
- Country, city, location, venue
- Transports to the conference (nearest International Airport, public
transports, taxis...)
- Proposed dates (note that ICEC is traditionally held in September)

A first round of selection will be performed by the officers of TC14. Those
candidates found to address  the points above will be invited to present
their candidacy at the next TC14 meeting scheduled for around April 2008 (at
later point, time, venue and invitation will be sent to the pre-selected
candidates).
