To celebrate the launch of Staffordshire University's new award
'Multiplayer Online Games Design', The Faculty of Computing, Engineering
and Technology are hosting a 2 day conference on all aspects of the
growing field of study that are MMOGs and Virtual Worlds - including
industry, academic, technological and the individual perspective.



The Conference will take place on the 5th and 6th of June, 2008 at the
Beaconside Campus of Staffordshire University - Stafford, UK.

The scope of the 2 day conference is broad, encompassing the many angles
of the current state of play of massive multiplayer games, virtual
worlds and social networks in all their forms.

For individual paper submissions, your 250-word (maximum)
abstract/proposal must be received by March 30th, 2008. At the top of
your proposal, please include the title of the paper/ panel, your name
(and the name of any co-presenters), affiliation, mailing address, and
e-mail address. This information will be used in the program and to mail
your conference materials.



A limited number of exhibitors' stands are available to rent for the
duration of the conference, an excellent opportunity to reach a wider
audience of industry, academics and students. Again information is
