We are excited to announce the first ever Revolutionary Learning 2016
Conference in New York, New York from August 17-19, 2016. The website
(www.revolutionarylearning.org) is now live --check it out today.

What is Revolutionary Learning 2016?

Revolutionary Learning 2016 will unite K-12 and Higher Education
Professionals, Researchers, Game Developers, Community, Corporate and
Government Leaders, and Funders so they may learn from each other by
sharing best practices. The conference will showcase innovation and
present case studies – all in an effort to move education and professionals
forward. You will listen to panel discussions on ‘Who Says What’s
‘Educational?’ The Role of Research in Learning Games” featuring renowned
learning science research scientists, attend hands on workshops like
“Adventures in Collateral Learning” with designer and author of the
influential book The Multiplayer Classroom, Lee Sheldon; see the latest in
Educational VR by pioneer Shauna Heller, experience Coventry University’s
cutting edge Disruptive Media Lab, see demonstrations from teachers and
students at the famed Quest2Learn school and learn how to engage students
in community activism through mobile gaming among other transformative
sessions.

Moreover, a Revolutionary Game Arcade room will feature cutting edge games
for learning and allow you to play and network with designers and each
other. A book exhibit gives a chance to meet authors who will sign copies
of their books. Additionally, you have the opportunity to create your own
interactive learning experiences, and bring back concrete ideas, lessons,
and tools to your school or organization.

The conference will also include unique design features to facilitate
collaboration and learning. Attendees have the option of participating in a
dynamic conference game that facilitates collaboration, networking, and
creative thinking culminating in a final expertly judged conference
presentation in the Grand Ballroom.
