Dear Chris

We have only one patient on IVIg at home. His wife is a doctor and
therefore we feel safe for the monitoring and follow-up of the infusion.
I think that for patients who do not present untoward reactions for long
time and receive always the same product we could prescribe IVIg at
home safely, but unfortunately we receive several brands of products
with different compositions, enhancing the number of adverse reactions.
here in our hospital we usually treat the patients in a day care clinic
that functions well.
Unfortunately SCIg is not licensed nowadays in Brazil and this type of
product could be very interesting in favoring to send the patients to
receive immunoglobulin at home.

Best regards,
