What the heck are you doing taking care of 57 yo ladies down at Children's Joe?

I have not seen it but Marc Riedl and others have far more experience with the SQ than I do. I'd get spirometry before her infusion and then again when see is wheezing to see what you got there objectively

Subject: [CIS-PAGID] CVID Pt wheezes 12h after Hizentra

Colleagues:

I recently started to follow a 57yo lady with CVID. She has lots of other complaints (fatigue, arthralgias, thyroid disease, migraines, mitral valve prolapse...).

She had significant reactions following Vivaglobin: fatigue, nausea, hives.

She is receiving Hizentra. Approximately 12h after each infusion she complains of wheezing. This is responsive to Xopenex and not of a severity to consider discontinuing the infusions.

Has anyone seen this in patients following SCIG?

IgG anti-IgA is pending.

Thank you for your thoughts.
