  Well, it seems your elaboration rules out phasing issues.  It sounds more and more like something in the stations' chains is re-processing your audio and causing the distortion.
   
  How many stations does this affect?  Does it affect every station you produce for?  What type of stations are these:  talk, rock, hip-hop, classical, etc?  This gives further clues as to processor setting issues.
   
  I don't think it's an issue of being racked up next to a CD burner or digital reverb, and I don;t believe any "inaudible something" has been added to your recording.  If that was the case, you would probably hear it on studio monitor playback as well.
   
  The fact that it's OK in studio monitors but sounds bad off-air, indicates to me that perhaps it is re-processing.  This is something the individual stations could trace out on their end by checking through their chains to find exactly where the troubles begin.  I would suspect that everything's OK up to their transmission audio processing equipment.
   
  I know Mr. Ruhwiedel also responded to you and it would be wise to check his suggestions as well.  I have copied the group on this email so everyone can follow the discussions.

      My I/O's are all L/R consistent.  When the device is out of the chain, I mean that it is externally bypassed.  
      Something occurred to me last night:  The device's manual says not to rack it near amps or digital gear.  Well, I've always had it next to either a CD burner or a digital reverb.  I've heard nothing untoward as a result so have figured it was okay.  Is it possible that a digital device or an amplifier could impart some inaudible 'something' that would picked up by station processors and cause audible distortion?  The distortion sounds pretty much like an overdriven preamp, though my levels are all good and don't change when the Vitalizer is out of the circuit (and everything sounds good on the air).  Thoughts?
