Just a thought, but check with Shawn Ketchum, Chief at Starstation 105 FM in Helena MT. (406)442-0400 sketchum52 at yahoo.com. He has faithfully worked on a brother sister pair of original BE FM 30 Trannys from about 84 or 85 One had Swepy Byrd Watt Meter the other was Digital Byrd. Ken at Cherry Creek Radio has the other currently but Shawn has worked both.

If I remember, that LP filter is part of the output connection. The filter on a BE is a separate can with flange fittings as I recall.> > ----- Original Message -----> From: k7cr <k7cr at blarg.net>> Date: Wednesday, January 30, 2008 11:27 am> Subject: Re: [SBE] BE FM5B Transmitter Parts> > > I believe that Chuck is looking for the low pass filter, this is > > external to the transmitter, ie, it does not matter the model.> > > > Clay> > ----- Original Message ----- > > From: "Chris Tarr" <ctarr at entercom.com>> > To: "k7cr" <k7cr at blarg.net>; "sbe member discussion mail list" > > <sbe at sbe.org>Sent: Tuesday, January 29, 2008 6:41 PM> > Subject: RE: [SBE] BE FM5B Transmitter Parts> > > > Sorry guys!> > I have a Harris FM20H3, not a BE FM20...> > > > -----Original Message-----> > From: k7cr [mailto:k7cr at blarg.net]> > Sent: Tuesday, January 29, 2008 7:34 PM> > To: sbe member discussion mail list> > Cc: Chris Tarr> > Subject: Re: [SBE] BE FM5B Transmitter Parts> > > > Contact Chris Tarr at Entercom Milwaukee, he should have something> > from an old FM20 that would work> > > > Clay Freinwald> > ----- Original Message -----> > From: "Chuck Bullett" <chuckbullett at gmail.com>> > To: "sbe member discussion mail list" <sbe at sbe.org>> > Sent: Tuesday, January 29, 2008 2:45 PM> > Subject: [SBE] BE FM5B Transmitter Parts> > > > > > > Is anyone parting out an FM5B from BE (late 80's vintage)?> > >> > > We just lost the Lo Pass filter on ours here in San Francisco. > > It was> > > manufactured by Bird for BE, OEM P/N 3111M.
