[SBE] sat truck op training

Back when I was doing this there were no real requirements as long as
you were willing to drive the uplink truck for ten hours in order to
set up when you arrived and then operate for another ten hours, all
the while stringing cable a hundred feet away in two directions for
two separate simultaneous shots, one for the organization who hired
the truck and another for whatever affiliates happen to show up at the
invitation of your client. Everyone involved will scream and curse at
you and consider themselves your boss the entire time.

Break down, sleep two hours, do it again. Keep two or more log books
in case somebody actually stops you and asks to see them.

IQ wise, if you can fog a mirror, you're good to go. Lots of people
have done this sort of thing, very few of them with any sort of a
choice do it for very long.

The average restaurant manager makes more money and works fewer hours.
Of course, that's rapidly becoming the sad truth about more and more
of broadcasting as the general economy grinds to a halt.
