Additionally, in the thousands of these situations I've delt with, I find it will pay
BIG dividends to have a standard form, a pre-written letter more or less, saying
that the station did respond in a reasonable time, and made all reasonable effort to
resolve the problem, that the complainant is satisfied with the results, and have them
sign it !

Should any follow-up complaint happen, and even in defense of complaints that
are clearly not the stations fault, these signed letters go a long way to making
the station look good in anyone's eyes.

Too often, there's a cousin in the next town that will also lodge a complaint
in hopes of also getting a new TV at the station's expense !
