[SBE] Questions about IP multicasting

Curt

You can do unicast over public internet.

Question is, why two destinations at the STL? Redundancy? If so, you’re
better off with two encoders, two disparate paths to the STL and two
decoders. Then both are unicast.

That said, I’ve got software that can take the unicast source, use public
internet with high reliability, low overhead and nearest to zero latency
that can also output multicast at the destination.

Let me know if you would like to talk more.
