[Voxnovus] Composer's Voice Concert: Preludio 21 - 1:00pm, Sunday, February 27, 2011 at the Jan Hus Church, 351 East 74th Street, NYC

Last August 17,  Composer's Voice along with our friends from Brazil's
Preludio 21, organized a concert in Rio de Janeiro.  The concert was a huge
success with a great crowd and excellent musicians performing the music of
"our" composers' organization (Vox Novus).  Our music was warmly received
and we made plans to work together again in the future.

Now, it is our turn to put on a concert of their music!  We have gathered
together an outstanding group of musicians:
Gregory Durozel, violin;  Kenji Haba, guitar; Claudine Hickman, piano; Tom
Piercy, clarinet; and Thiago Sousa, flutes!  

They will be performing the music of:
J. Orlando Alves; Marcos Lucas; Sergio Roberto de Oliveira; Neder Nasssaro;
Alexandre Schubert and Caio Senna!

Come hear what is happening in contemporary chamber music in Brazil.

The concert is FREE and takes place 1:00pm, Sunday, February 27, 2011 at the
Jan Hus Church, 351 East 74th Street, NYC.

 
Please bring donations of food and clothing for the Homeless Outreach and
Advocacy Program.
